From 2012! The title for this would-have-been was 同じ (because for some reason, I gave this a JP title...) I think this was gonna be a character study about Pinoko and BJ?

I don't make much doujin because I tend to lose passion for them quickly. I prefer to make original comics, what can I say? ^^; This one was gonna be 20 pgs. Kinda wished I finished it. I liked how it was looking.

Je viens de terminer la du "L'histoire des 3 Adolf" de Osamu

Ça faisait longtemps qu'une lecture ne m'avait pas fait cet effet... Le récit terminé, on souffle et on peine à croire qu'il soit clos. L'exégèse qui suit certaines éditions permet de faire retomber l'incrédulité de devoir sortir du récit après y avoir été plongé à chaque volume.

C'est une œuvre que j'ai trouvée grandiose et dont je conseille sans hésiter la lecture, même si le récit est violent.

I just learned that Astro Boy was born 20 years ago today (7 April 2003).

The manga 'Astro Boy' by Tezuka Osamu (1928-1989) aka "The God of Manga" was first published on 7 April 1952, but its main character was going to be born on 7 April 2003.

I'm excited to see this anime based on the Pluto manga. I LOVE Osama Tezula and
Naoki Urasawa's story was such an interesting expansion of the Astroboy story. This should be good.

going through the princess knight volumes that i bought a while ago. interesting seeing how gender stuff was being dealt with in manga decades ago, plus how much of it is an obvious inspiration to versailles no bara. not gonna say i'm entirely into how gender was presented so far but i am enjoying it overall, and i'm curious to see where it goes

Absolutely killer: Osama Tezuka, resurrection in the Phoenix series. Shockingly ahead of its time.

Also, the Matrix. I'd seen it when it came out. Interesting to see it now, knowing what we know.

I really like Osamu Tezuka’s Black jack. A complex moral character with amazing surgical skills at high prices. I thought it would be fun to do an “animal version."

Black Jack has a facial skin graft that’s a different color; so for my animal version, I wanted to make that stand out. I chose a skunk for my animal choice and then decided to make the face graft reptilian.

I also did study sketches and drew the character in his regular, human state.
