This is probably dumb, but I just wanted to thank everyone who likes, boosts, and/or comments on my regular #TFTuesday posts. I am a very self-conscious person, and it does some positive good for my self worth to know that there are other people who like the same bizarre nonsense I do.

#TFTuesday mood:

It's a gorgeous day to spend fishing at the river with your buddies. The atmosphere is casual for the most part, save for one of your friends, who's leaning over the rail and excitedly reeling in one whopper of a catfish! Before they remove the hook and release it, they hold it up toward you.

"Woah! It looks just like you!" You're a bit put off by this comparison, since last time you checked, you didn't resemble a catfish in any way. You brush the hair out of your face with your sweaty, webbed hands to get a better look.

You turn your head to inspect the catfish since your glassy eyes are no longer front-facing. You have to admit, it does have your bluish-grey coloring. And its long barbels are nearly identical to the ones now growing from around your fattening lips. Your friend's right: you and the fish could be siblings.

You nod without saying anything—not that you can talk anyway, since you don't have vocal chords. Your spine snakes out behind you, taking the opportunity to burst through your rapidly-deteriorating trousers and reveal a forked tail that wags in approval of your friend's astute observation. The rest of your clothes soon fade into nonexistence, leaving you in your glaucous, slimy spawnday suit.

A few chuckles are had before your friend carefully drops the catfish back into the water. You sit up to have a stretch, and your new gills and spiny fins flap in the summer breeze. You settle back down into your natural hunched position, your neck and chiseled physique now forgotten memories. The bench creaks underneath your hulking body, but nobody seems to take notice.

The sight of pink clouds and a setting sun means it's time for everyone to get home for supper. Your human friends pack up their gear and thank you for your company, smiling and patting your mucous back appreciatively. You lumber down the bank, turning to wave goodbye with your fin-like arm before sinking into the river, the only home you remember having. #TFEveryday
