Our #ThamesSolarElectric widebeam was promised to be 100% #offgrid. Ryan even reassured that we had more power in our panels than his own boat - he only ever nearly ran out of power cooking Xmas dinner for 12. It’s not; just like other customers, even though we don’t move from our mooring we have to plug in or use a generator over the winter. Winters are disappointing. Which is why today, we celebrate the #wintersolstice - we’ve made it half way through winter! #SolarElectricBoat
