Been working on a #3Dprint lightshroud design for my #Skywatcher #heritage 150 #telescope.

This wasn't quite the final design, it had a gap between the parts at the highest joint, but it was 99% complete when this became apparent during the print. I'm out of black filament (more have been ordered) but while incomplete this was sufficient to finish with some cable ties.

Once fully tested I'll put the final version on #thangs.com

I made my first contribution to the maker space! I wanted to have a webcam mount for my Fokoos Odin-5 F3 #3Dprinter, but unfortunately no such design was available (the printer isn't as popular as other brands are).

So, the natural conclusion was to just make my own. Now that it's fully working, I uploaded the design to #Thangs at https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/850662

I'm quite proud of publishing my first functional design!

Just me, or is the https://thangs.com app on #Android very lagging and buggy.

I tried it, and when it works, it works, but I repeatedly need to kog in an md out, and something just feels off.

https://www.thangs.com is my goto search engine for any 3D models. I even use it even when I just want https://www.printables.com results. It provides similar tools and syntax to #Google search for advanced searching and queries. I definitely recommend it!

It is especially great for #Gridfinity
