Vim (and vim keybindings) have been the API for my fingers for my entire career. I can't imagine doing this job without them. #ThanksBram
As a young CS student, I started using Emacs but it never really clicked with me. I saw that the research lab director used vi and tried it out. I was quickly hooked by the power of the edit mode command patterns and use vim to this day. #ThanksBram
A few years ago, at the age of 40, I decided to learn how to use #vim. Very quickly, I became very comfortable with modal editing, and came to prefer it. I now use #neovim as my main editor.
I am greatly indebted to Bram Moolenaar. #thanksBram
