I give thanks to the NHS today, on its 75th birthday. If it weren't for the NHS, I wouldn't be 39, I would most likely have died shortly after birth due to a heart defect.

My second son would have likely died of #Meningitis at 4 months old.

If it weren't for the NHS, I'd either be dead or in perpetual debt to repay the hospital bills.

Men, fellas, chaps...can I encourage you all to please not ignore any #prostate issues but get it checked out. Get a PSA test done even if you've no symptoms. As a #prostatecancer survivor with my 3 radiotherapy dot tattoos, I want to assure you that if not left too late, treatment works well. The hardest part was having to keep still in the scanner whilst listening on headphones to #StevieWonder Superstition😄 #menshealth #ThankYouNHS
