2 weeks ago we started our covid experience. With the worst of it in the rear view mirror and everyone testing negative, I can say, wow that was scary. #thankyouScience that provided vaccines, Paxlovid treatments and at home tests. These all saved us, a 73 yr old with diabetes, ex smoker. A young man with asthmatic occasions, and me, who somehow didn't catch the virus at all. I did get a booster in Sept/October. Get the booster!

A week ago since I got my boosters. Felt icky for a single day. After that, I was fine!

I sat way in the back, alone, just in case, instead of my center seat up front. I left immediately after so that I wouldn't be near the celebrating students and families. I missed that part, but I got to see the show. When I got home I teared up, you know when you are carrying something and when you finally set it down, you almost fall over and just let it all go? I'm just so grateful. #thankyouscience #gratitude
