Kenneth More’s strengths were his ability to portray charm, and as an “officer returning from the war” he was superb. Those qualities made him suitable for Hannay.

Finally got a copy of #Hannay starring #RobertPowell and have been remembering how much I enjoyed it originally. I do have a question for anybody who might know; is the bridge that Hannay stands on in the intro the same bridge used in #Hitchcock's #the39steps?
