I am a Boomer and this song was on the radio constantly in 1963.
What a confusing era it was. In 2 yrs, the 1st US combat troops were being sent to Vietnam to fight a for no good reason & the protests here over that had yet to begin while this innocent song was at the top of the charts.

🎧 Was prepping a toot on #MavisStaples (Live in London...later) and read #TheStapleSingers' #wikepedia page. Never knew they recorded #StephenStills' "For What It's Worth" in 1967, same year as #BuffaloSpringfield. Yep. ❤️
