The 7th Guest VR from Vertigo Games debuted today at Meta’s Quest Game Showcase. Trilobyte Games, the studio I co-founded with Rob Landeros and John Fricker licensed the game to Vertigo and they’ve made some magic. Just check out the video trailer. What is stunning to me personally, as a tech and gaming elder, is the longevity of #The7thGuest which was 1st released in 1993 - the first game to feature FMV and human actors. Also, with MYST, the first two games to be released on CD-ROM. The original, retro game is still available to play, through Mojo-Touch Studio who just released a version for Nintendo Switch.
