A Beano Xmas cover from Christmas Eve 1966. Before my time I should like to add. The Beano is (of course) a weekly humour comic in the UK and it’s the longest running weekly comic in the world, clocking up over 4000 issues since July 1938! Child Number Two here had a Beano subscription for a few years but sadly recently grew out of it and announced it was now “too young” for him. I love a good book but only seem to find time for #audiobooks these days. Anything #sherlock related, #discworld related, always catch my attention. Other than that I do have a taste for #britishcrimefiction.
I love #comics and #graphicnovels, mainly those of #British origin and have a large collection of 50's to 80's annuals, especially #theDandy and #theBeano.
I do enjoy old tv and movies and love to watch any #DoctorWho #StarTrek #CharlieChan #SherlockHolmes content.
