How often in a signout do we tell a colleague "if your gut tells you X, listen to it"
It's interesting that one might argue our "gut" is just our subconscious recognizing a clinical pattern that's been honed by clinical experience. But how would a machine-learner or neural network "mine" that to replicate? That's not going to be in any database

Fun fact about the protagonist in my book #TheAlgorithmWillSeeYouNow. Her name is Hope Kestrel, and I chose “kestrel” to draw from the #PNW where I live and where the book is set (mainly in Seattle). These photos of a baby kestrel are from my daughter’s summer internship ❤️
