@Faylen I appreciate image descriptions, even though I can see the images, because it often adds context or highlights some important detail that I didn't notice.
I'll add a reminder that folks can also add alt text for GIFs as well as for images. Here's a GIF from Young Frankenstein with an added description.
I finally figured out how to add image descriptions for my artwork for the visually impaired, here on Mastodon! I knew how to do it from a technical standpoint, but so much of my work relies on color - but thankfully not all of it!
If I focus on tactile descriptions, using terms like "warm color" and "cool color", I won't need to rely on color names.
Any thoughts?
