Papp is best known for the eponymous #PublicTheater on #LafayetteStreet #Shakespeare In the Park and #preservation of the #broadway #theaterdistrict. The small town that has developed around the harbor of my city-state has become a lively #theaterdistrict which includes franchised version of the #RegalTheater in Chicago, #ApolloTheater in Harlem, and Club Caribbia. My city is quickly becoming a tourist destination.
