As part of tech cleanup, I dumped out and reorganized the tech storage bins. I'm apparently out of console tape, but I had a silver marker and plenty of gaff tape, so I could label them.
Let's see how long they stay organized this time.

Well, Adam and I did several rounds of troubleshooting this afternoon. At the very least, the VGA cable between the booth and projector was suspect. And that was for either projector we tested. So, after running a replacement HDMI cable, and repositioning the loaner projector, we're back in business.

You arrive at tech rehearsal #2 and you have to track down a buzzing speaker, a speaker that was perfectly clear two days ago, and the only solution is to re-purpose a different audio line *and* replace that speaker...

There were three (3) instruments in the house, all house center very close to the stage and on the celing. Completely bare balcony pipe, bare everything. No side light, no nothing.

It was fun, wonderful, and exhausting. My friends knew they would not see me for about six weeks.
I enjoy your story of the modern stuff; I admit I'm mildly envious. Sounds like hard work but a lot of fun.
