Long lost melody of stars
reaching to make us cry.

Broken promises
shattering dreams,
nothing is as it seems.

Cracks and wrinkles,
grey hair and wine
all come in their own time.

Cold wind and rain
path covered with shame,
shadows without pain.

Touch of one’s skin
the bygones of fear.
