Anyone affected by the #Netflix password sharing charges? So instead of getting $20 from us a month for a service we watch occasionally, they will now get zero. Grandkids can instead get cartoons from free services like #Plex, #distrotv or #plutotv. I will live on #thisoldhouse 24/7 on it's own channel in #plex. #disney is still ok as there are some series we still need to binge. #discoveryplus is currently our staple Is #netflix going the way of #thebird.

@theintercept So far the Pentagon, Russia, China, corporate entities, right-wing extremist groups, oh, and the former President used #thebird (as well as FB) as their platform of choice for their disinformation campaigns.

So every normal user had to wade through waist-deep crap day in and day out just to get to some information that they hoped was not tainted by the above entities.

@Susanbee @ozzy @eirliani I think ppl’s experiences on #thebird are very individual - at least the change of ownership, when #musk began redesigning the space in his own image. Before that, my experience there was great, but I concertedly stayed away from politics and partisanship. It was pretty possible to make that a whole separate Tw, if that makes sense. Having said that, I know ppl who had horrible experiences there, having done nothing to spark them.
