Mary is totally unafraid of messing up. She bumbles her Assignment all the time. Lands in the wrong place or gives the plant to the wrong woman in the nursing home. She never gets embarrassed. Just shrugs and goes on. I'm a cherubim, we're perfectionist, much more so than the Seraphim. I hate to fail. But when I ask her about it, she's like, "Who cares? The Devil's in the details, God's in the big picture."

I just sent two pre-blurb requests for THE BONE TRENCH. Pre-blurb meaning to include in the query; the novel's not accepted for publication yet. I learned in querying my other novels that controversial stories need someone supporting them. The ask makes me so nervous.
