I'll admit, I came into this book a little trepidatious, I remember reading #GoAskAlice years ago, and it being depressing AF, so I was prepared to be horribly depressed by #TheBookofDavid as well, and while the story isn't all sunshine and rainbows, it's a pretty accurate tale of high school struggles and coming to terms with your sexuality and accepting and loving yourself.
