Proper inner-city Uk hip-hop / techdub/aggro-soundsystem/working-class industrial is magnificent. And, from my own 'favourite albums' history this does feel like an angrier Leftfield, or a UK Dälek. Less afro-futurist, more post-apocalyptic. An album on the beauty of militant agression and resistance.

There is a real digital sharpness here the use of band-pass and focus on the highs and mids for developments and breakdowns keeps you feeling uneasy. You are never far away from being plato's cave'd away from a higher level or a deeper bass.

A real slew of DIY distortion techniques and even digital threshold distortion give it the feel of a demo-tape with 'connections' that wants to hold you account for your crimes.
Background vocal treatments and processing with a hint of dub-style delay help with the just expertly built space and atmosphere

In a way i feel like the intent here is for the raw dB of a custom car soundsystem or you know, a soundsystem soundsystem - it feels spectrally compartmentalised ; it WANTS to be loud. and it knows its roots;

The Cheetah Bug was a micro-switched joystick that featured a short stubby directional stick, two fire-buttons and an autofire function.

The Bug was originally released in a black finish. In 1993, a Green and Red variant, the "Slime Edition" was launched, and a Chrome variant was supposed to be released too.
