Toda una sorpresa. ¿Posiblemente el mejor slasher veraniego ochentero? No entiendo cómo no es más conocida. Quizás resulta menos icónica que #Viernes13 y menos sorprendente que #SleepawayCamp, pero es la que mejor captura el espíritu de los campamentos de verano, tiene grandes momentos gore, interpretaciones convincentes, una excelente fotografía, un final boy (innovación en el género), un villano muy potente y, por fuera poco, música de un componente de YES.

I sometimes struggle with some of the films that we view for the podcast, especially when they are interesting, but lesser-known titles, but I just heard someone discuss The Burning and say that Cropsy “inexplicably” returns from being burned alive.
Look, if you are being confused by The Burning then you really just need to actually watch the film properly before discussing it.
