We made it to the 2022 Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Rally. The two cars that we drove down from Goa were joined by 70 or so other superb examples. I’ll share a link to the event reportage soon.
It was good to see the 223-series S-Class (current press car), in which I did a Bombay-Goa and back earlier this year. But honestly, if given a choice, I mightn’t be able to choose that over the V123.

Photo from the second quick stop that morning, this one's from Amboli Ghat. The V123 put some effort to make the climb, but it didn't feel gutless. Great that it was specced with an AT; it made my life really easy. The yellow W123 quickly became the centre of everyone's attention.
