@Sapiophielle My fave #ChristmasFilm is #TheChristmasGift (1986) with inter alia #JohnDenver (only two songs I think and his acting is not great), #JaneKaczmarek & #MaryWickes. It is schmaltzy - no denying - but there is some drama involving a lost child in a blizzard. Also, imo, a few good laughs. And the romance aspect is not over-played like many more recent #ChristmasMovies. High Art it is not; but great for the feels! 🎄🎬
