I finished #Watchmen: #TheCompleteMotionComic a couple of weeks ago and it's excellent, overall, though the male creators give us zero reason to believe they know anything about women as individuals.

Just watched the 2009 Watchmen #movie and it's pretty good, but the tone is wrong and the music choices are forced and don't work at all.

Now to rewatch the #HBOMax (#Max) #series to determine if that makes a difference because, on my first watch, I didn't know any of the story and hated the show.

I finished episode 6 of #Watchmen: #TheCompleteMotionComic early last week and decided halfway through is a good breakpoint.

Getting #Rorschach's story (after #DrManhattan's* earlier) really helped me understand what's happening, though it didn't explain his altered speech pattern.

This series is so much better than the live action #HBOMax version, which really did dump us right in the middle of a story and explained almost nothing.

I'm watching #Watchmen: #TheCompleteMotionComic, #2008, #HBOMax, and it's really good.

Until the (bad) #HBO series, I wasn't familiar at all with story, but always liked the name and "#WhoWatchesTheWatchmen?" tagline.

I'll watch the movie next, which I hope gives the full history if this show doesn't do that.

I just finished episode 4, which fills in a lot, so hopefully it'll all make sense to me by the end.

Or maybe #Rorschach will, fittingly, be left to individual interpretation.
