Finished the virtual Flower Route Challenge this morning - next up is the virtual Mt Everest climb. Whilst is is a little shorter in km I am planning to add a lot of elevation to my usual walking route.

Got my first The Conqueror Challenge medal today for the virtual Berlin Wall 48km walk. Gotta say I'm really impressed with the quality and design. Sure is a motivator to keep going and collect a few more.

Morning Tooters - my virtual walk of the Flower Route in the Netherlands took me to this location this morning and to see the colourful blooms on a cold winter's morning is a pleasing sight.
My real walk this morning was cold and grey-ish but no rain at least.

Finished The Conqueror Berlin Wall challenge today - very enjoyable and motivating, especially since it was a familar area. Signed up for the Trek to Petra next, for Petra is my name and how cool will that be to have a medal with my name on it in the end :awesome:
The medals are really amazing, each individually themed to match with challenge, many have moving parts too, huge incentive.

reached the 40% of The Conqueror virtual Berlin Wall challenge and this means a second tree will be planted, yay. Now I am virtually in the district where I used to live, namely Kreuzberg. No idea what it would be like to live there now but in the early 80's it was a wild ride.

7-Uhr-Morgenlauf heute mondbeschienen und matschig. Sehr viele Fahrräder, Pfützen, Rutschgefahren. Sehr wenig blinkende Hunde, dafür ein blinkender Läufer. Monstermuskelkater von gestern machte mich schwerfällig.

Erster 7-Uhr-Morgenlauf des Jahres, gefolgt vom ersten Krafttraining des Jahres. Fühle mich wie in einem Comic, ächz, stöhn, keuch, gähn, uff. Pardauz. Früh und dunkel wie ein Faustschlag mitten ins Gesicht. Egal; geschafft (in jedem erdenklichen Wortsinn). Getroffen: nichts und niemanden, huch.
