This, I think, is quite special: the #TonePoet reissue of #TheCooker by #LeeMorgan.

This has become quite rare of late & I was fortunate to pick up a NM copy (in reality, unplayed) for, basically, retail.

The album itself is glorious. I love Morgan (with & without Blackey) - he blows with such ferocious energy, while never less than melodic & soulful. He is one of my favourite #jazz artists &, imo, second only to Miles on the horn.
