La verdad es que ver ahora la serie, tras el fallecimiento de Isabel II, le da otra dimensión. Es casi un homenaje póstumo.

Obviamente, no veremos críticas a la monarca, porque si no no se habría estrenado la serie... Aún así, me gusta porque nos hace ser conscientes de la cantidad de momentos históricos que vivió durante su reinado.

I've been dipping in and out over the last couple of days and can't get over how angry it makes me feel with Diana's story.
#ElizabethDebicki plays Diana so well.

I constantly have to remind myself it's a drama and not a documentary though, just to keep me from screaming at the TV. 😆

Dominic West as Prince Charles is quite peculiar to watch. No physical resemblance whatsoever, but the voice is SO spot on, it’s truly bewildering. I keep pinching myself. Similarly with Imelda Staunton as The Queen. Jonathan Pryce as Philip is a questionable choice, imho. He brings none of the spunk and rigidity of his predecessors to the table, but maybe this time he was just written poorly. Likewise Lesley Manville as Margaret: Utterly, criminally bland. Meh.

One of the most amazing liberties The Crown seems to take with reality is the fine heads of hair all the male royals have. Even to the extent of putting Jonathan Pryce in a hairpiece.
