Today's #BlorboFromMyShows is Woo Young-woo from #TheExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo

I hope my inclusion of Young-woo into my blorbo collection isn't viewed as tokenism, but wow, I do adore her. Yes, she's autistic. Yes, she struggles with it sometimes, but it's not what defines her. It's clear that she loves her father deeply, and she loves her job as a lawyer. I appreciate that there's a rom-com K-drama that focuses on a neurodivergent female lead.

I don't watch a lot of K-dramas but this popped up on my Netflix recommendations. Took a chance and I'm so glad I did.

It's rare to see someone neurodivergent as a lead, much less the romantic lead in a K-drama. The story doesn't shy away from the struggles of loving someone with autism. But Jun-ho is still willing to do it because Young-woo is worth it. She's smart and cute and charming.
