Genius.
1️⃣ #KurtwoodSmith is fabulous as a rival talent agent who wants to steal Teddy away. Great dilemma/story/ending.
2️⃣ Sadly, this is Smith’s only episode. He puts his snake-in-the-grass smile to great use. And brings out the very best in #JonCryer, who always plays Teddy with heart. But he really shines here as Teddy grapples with his conscience.
3️⃣ Of course, #AlexRocco - who only appears twice - steals the episode from everybody as Al Floss.

#GetSmart 024 (1966) - 8/10
1️⃣ Plenty of laughs in this one. The various situations (traffic cop, airport security, KAOS cabin) are used to great effect. Max is even shown to be a (fairly) competent agent at one point! Both 99 and Chief are out in the field with him for the whole mission. Not much reliance on catchphrases, but plenty of good physical comedy.
2️⃣ #TedKnight (#TheMaryTylerMooreShow) guests as the main baddie, and #MiltonSelzer (#TheFamousTeddyZ) is back once again as Parker.

1️⃣ #DennisLipscomb (#Wiseguy, #CopRock) returns to the show as Teddy’s (insane) client, who is up for a Best Actor award in this story.
2️⃣ As ever, the show’s strengths are the observations it makes on the crazier aspects of the entertainment industry. The stuff about Teddy being nervous about making a speech on live TV isn’t as funny.

Strong story; very funny.
1️⃣ The b-story is pure comedy gold. Al Floss negotiates a great deal for a dead client (because he’s too embarrassed to admit he didn’t know about the death). #AlexRocco is truly hilarious. His every word, his every inflection, is a joy to behold. He steals every scene. He steals the episode. This b-story is one of the high points of the entire series.

1️⃣ #SusanAnton (#Baywatch) guests in this wonderful episode written and directed by #RichardDubin (#FranksPlace).
2️⃣ It’s a wish fulfilment-type story, with Teddy (an ordinary dopey guy) getting swept up in an unlikely romance with an international movie star. And, thanks to Anton and #JonCryer, it is utterly charming. She 100% sells it.
