I'm cautiously hopeful for #TheFinalShape

Lightfall still feels like a burn in terms of the drop in quality for narrative and parts of gameplay.

As such I feel more resistant to the Final shape even though it's actually closer to what we expected unlike Lightfall which feel like a last minute addition to fill in the possible gap in dev time for TFS (though I wasn't expecting as much D1 stuff).

(no spoiler) #Destiny2 weekly story - the cutscene is great, does a lot of much needed explanation, but I am quite grumbly that it's locked behind the season pass; it should have been shown to everyone, F2P players inclusive, because it clears up and establishes a lot of crucial stuff around Darkness vs Light, Witness and the Veil. Hopefully it will get recapped for everyone at season changeover, or in opening moments of #theFinalShape.

I'm not sure why there's so much negativity about Cayde's apparent return in The Final Shape teaser. Ikora has clearly entered the big triangular hole in the Traveller and Cayde, or some version or manifested memory of him, exists on the other side. They're deep into Paracausal territory so he may not be 'back' in any real sense.

So we have the leaks claiming that #Lightfall we got is not the initially announced LF and that #theFinalShape is that expansion instead (as in TFS is the REAL LF, and the published LF is something else reusing the title). I 100% buy that.

This is an odd entry in that campaign is a dragged out interlude that could actually not exist at all (see start & end cutscenes).

#Destiny2 I wouldn't be surprised if in #TheFinalShape we get a 3rd darkness subclass and a new raid, and one of the raid triumphs, similar to how we have triumphs for completing the raid will an all arc fireteam and stuff, is to complete the raid with each member of the fireteam having a different subclass element
