One of the reasons I love , and so much is their huge tweakability in terms of

If they hadn't implemented this, I would never have been able to finish any of the games.

And it's lovely to not feel like a second-class gamer for a change, unlike all the deliberately super-hard games out there with zero difficulty customisation.

At school, I was excluded from . Now I'm excluded from .

Kind of sucks.

Based upon what I’ve read and having played the game which is based upon the premise similar to ‘if Hitler had won the war’.

The fight at beach was accurate it is what happens after that history changed.

This was the first attempt to take Japan. First they took and then and then they went to Japan and only just failed. The only reason the Shogun was prepared was a Samurai was able to get from Tsushima to warn him..

The reason the Mongolians nearly took Japan is because Japan’s Shogun to create order required the Samurai to follow a strict honour code presumably to stop internal wars. The Mongols did not follow this code hence the slaughter on Komoda beach and the closeness to the Mongols winning in Japan.

Now the works on the premise that the attack was stopped on Tsushima.

is the rise of a samurai who saw that he would need to change to defend his home.

Alright this is the fun part. If this had occurred then in the next invasion directly on Japan the Mongols would have probably have won, even though the Samurai were better fighters. Why? The would not have learnt. Play the game to understand.

Playing there are a few interesting takes, after some reading:

*.We look upon Japan / China and Korea as being influential in Asia (Orient) but OMG the Mongolians were seriously badass and probably influenced/created the animosity between these countries.

* What the Japanese did in Northern China was historically a retaliation of China attacking Japan under their overlords The Mongolians.

* Korea was also part of it. Hence the Japanese taking Korean woman as slaves.

* The Mongolian language is such a mash up of soooo many different languages. I hear Polish, I hear German, I hear northern Europe. Fascinating.

There is so much to unpack from this history.

We are sooooo influenced and controlled by European history and their relationship with the Orient, maybe we should open our eyes a bit.
