For years I thought "The Goonies II" for the NES was a sequel to the movie, but that is not the case. Konami relased "The Goonies" exclusively in Japan on the Famicom, and this wasn't explained when the second game was released worldwide.

It was a fun game but one that definitely requires a walk-through. It has good graphics, fun music, but some less than intuitive gameplay at times.
