I’ve recently seen a flurry of enthusiastic #theGrassIsGreener toots from #German folks about the progressive #Netherlands dispatching free #sunscreen at the #beach.

Three things come to mind:

1. Only a very small part of the Netherlands is covered by beaches.
2. A substantial part of that area is covered by German tourists.
3. The retail price for a 200 ml bottle of sunscreen from major brands is around EUR 24,- in the Netherlands

I'm reading some technology feedback from a survey we did at work and I think I've seen the inside of my skull a dozen times now because of how hard my eyes had to roll.

"The majority of today's industries do not use iPads or Macs as their main device."

"[Training] from someone who actually knows how to use what they are demonstrating."

"Students would be easier to manage on Chromebooks" [we use iOS K-12]

"Teachers should have Macs, students should have Chromebooks."

Each multigenerational family has its own drama. Maturing adults: Aging parents who spent their entire lives to provide for them don’t know how to establish their lives in their golden age. Aging parents: Grown-up children who might be busy with their children aren’t spending time with them, feeling left out, or worse, obsolete. They/we know a little about the other side but it remains a difficult topic.
