A portrait taken for me current project. The idea of using a fisheye lens for a portrait shot goes against everything you’ll ever read regarding what lens to use for portraits.

Fisheye lenses are the iconic lens for skate photography and it felt right to use it for this shot.

Taken with a Hasselblad 6x6 camera and 30mm distagon fisheye lens. Ilford HP5 at ISO 800
