Mede-oprichter, bassist en frontman van punkband #NoMeansNo. En het uit de hand gelopen zijproject #TheHansonBrothers, dat hij ook opricht met zijn broer #JohnWright, waar ze enkel zingen over ijshockey, bier en alles wat hen Canadees maakt. Ze treden bij deze band ook op in ijshockey pakken.
Wat de bass stijl van spelen bij Rob zo uniek maakt is de techniek om deze te bespelen als een gitaar.
Hij zal ook vele punkbands produceren.
