Having now read the interview it is not as bad as I'd feared. He was prompted by the interviewer and his answer was neutral and non-committal.

I think it was more the interviewer (for #TheHerald) trying to stir the pot and split the indy movement for a story because they know the #AlbaParty is not well respected.
