I live in Boston, and like to go hiking in the #white #mountains of #NH which are about 180 miles away

So I would build a gondola, and ride in comfort above the masses in their cars, looking down with pity while I sipped an aperitif

of course the gondola would have a follower car, where my manservant would clean my hiking clothes and pack my backpack with #gourmet #GORP etc etc

@lindyli It’s a core aspect of #TheScheme , an intentional effort by very fascist wealth, conceived of by Lewis Powell Jr, a corporate lawyer and later SCOTUS judge. This effort started in the 70s, although #fascist wealth has been at it since the early 1900s

The patrons are families like #Koch #Mercer #Scaife with newer generation of #Theil et alia joining in on the overall effort to dismantle the republic brick by brick and rule on its ashes.

He is a piece of work. Anti democratic, anti competition, monopolistic, despotic little sh*t who has a fetish over Sauron and Mordor. A Naturalized Citizen who presumably swore an oath to defend the Constitution, but obviously betrays that with the millions he pours into the #fascist (ahem excuse me, #conservative) movement. You know the one.. that doesn’t mind suspending the Constitution.

Calling #Theil's #inequality measure an "#entropy" irritated Amartya Sen. From #AmartyaSen's "#OnEconomicInequality" (#OEI) I learned a lot about #InequalityMeasures. But entropy seems not do go down too well with him (1973) and his co-author #JamesEFoster (1997): When describing the "interesting" "#TheilEntropy" (chapter 2.11), Sen sees a contradiction between entropy being a measure of "#disorder" in #thermodynamics and entropy being a measure for "#equality".
