#TheImperfects on #Netflix is a nice twist for me.

Hier soir, j'ai terminé la 1ère saison de #TheImperfects.
Si j'ai eu du mal à accrocher à la plastique de certains personnages (Sarkov, trop jeune à mon goût, et Burke, trop lisse), cette série m'a rappelé l'excellente The misfits.
Mention spéciale à Tilda.
L'histoire n'est pas folle, mais on se laisse embarqué par le trio que forment les héros et par l'humour général qui s'en dégage.

I love how #TheImperfects has a main character with #hyperacusis based superpowers, and also uses sound effects that make it torturous for my noise-sensitive ass to watch.

We watched #TheImperfects this weekend and… hoo boy.

It was a REALLY fun show with a lot of great ideas and a fun main cast, but the bulk of the writing felt like it was written by a 14-year-old and many side characters were just really awful. Would have enjoyed a season 2, so I’m bummed it’s cancelled - BUT the 50 different lame plot twists at the end were going to make for a very convoluted S02.

Delle ultime tre serie viste su #Netflix, "#Mercoledì" è la migliore, per distacco, poi "#WarriorNun" e "#TheImperfects". Mi piace molto anche "#Inverso", su #PrimeVideo. Altrove, segnalo la terza stagione di "#HisDarkMaterials" (molto bella) e "#LasciamiEntrare" (stesso titolo e trama del film horror).

Sono serie per noi giovani, quindi non adatte per voi anziani 😇
