The writer of this episode, Morgan Gendel, proposed a sequel to this episode. While the sequel wasn’t picked up by TNG, he did make a comic book of that story called “The Outer Light”.

I was fortunate to purchase that comic book from him at a STLV convention around 10 years ago.

1. Daniel Stewart, who played Kamin & Eline's son, Batai, is also Patrick Stewart’s son.

This morning's #dream: after hanging out with Sylvester Stallone in my yard, I come inside to a house and life that's unrecognizable. I have #amnesia! i don't remember how I got there, but It's the kind of place I thought was perfect when I was 21: lots of books and the decor from a crappy county museum. I have several roommates and a hot 20 YO gf, but my wife and baby are gone. In the dream, i spend days in this world.

I basically dreamed the reverse of #TheInnerLight.
