Lo and behold, a day later I heard from the resident, he had found my package in his mailbox package and was happy to set up a time for me to retrieve it. That young man did NOT have to do that, he was under no obligation, yet he contacted me and yesterday I retrieved the package from him, stopping by his work after I got off from mine.
