I know 'shrinkflation' is a thing with chocolate bars... but do we really need it with cinema?

In 2010 it took Tom Hooper and Colin Firth 119 minutes to tell a compelling story. Today they released a remake lasting eight and a half minutes, from an uncredited director, and starring someone who can only have landed the role due to nepotism.

No more of this, please.

Immensely disappointed to find The King's Speech today was not the Colin Firth (swoon) film, but just a man with an intense dislike of pen butlers, wittering on as if he cared or understood the lives of others.
