#TheLastOfUsTVShow Continues to impress week after week.

This is spot on, and perfect satire of what’s wrong with doing a faithful adaptation of something as thin as a video game.

I really really wish #CraigMazin had continued down the road he started in ep3, using the game as inspiration for a story he wanted to tell rather than an outline for fan service.  See my thread on ep5 for spoilery criticism.

#TheLastOfUsTVShow seems doomed to become irrelevant, not even the level of popcorn urgency that #BattlestarGalactica was in its heyday.

Which is a shame, because #BSG shed a light on Bush’s Wars and the challenges to democracy at a time we needed it, providing a counter narrative to the likes of #24.

#TLoUHBOMax has the potential to be *the* SF story about the pandemic. The one that #Station11 tried to be.

And it’s blowing it.
