I sometimes wonder if I'm too easily enamored of movies. #TheLastThingMarySaw (2021) has such a low rating and I don't understand why.

I've seen reviews that have said it was boring or insufficiently developed. I think if it were developed any further it would create something that it isn't, and focusing on what it is—instead of what it could be—makes it all the more lovely.

I just watched #TheLastThingMarySaw (2021) and I'm going back for seconds. My expectations were upset in all the best ways. If you enjoy the #TheVVitch (2015), you'll likely enjoy this wicked film.

The Last Thing Mary Saw started out meh but progressively got better and better. Dark and tragic with an ending that felt very right. Great cast.
