As someone who found out she was #trans as an adult, this line from #TheLastUnicorn always hits HARD. T puberty gave me a few gifts, but it'd've been nice to have a say. Even to know when I first moved out of my conservative parents' home would have been a huge help.

Video is a series of photos showing the progression of a fantasy forest painting from start to end. The landscape is gently rolling with a variety of trees & woodland animals. A stream flows through.

I thought I had finished the forest part of the 1 ft test painting, but a friend insisted it had to have a trash panda. So now there's a tiny raccoon in the tree. The last thing to add is the Celtic knotwork to fill the empty space around the forest. #FantasyArt #ArtistOnMastodon #TheLastUnicorn

I have a 5 ft square canvas, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with it. I finally decided that I want to do a forest inspired by The Last Unicorn. This is my first rough sketch. It’s based off of bits and pieces of stills from the movie.
