Nail-biting tension.

1️⃣ The trial starts, and the show's ability to turn waiting to see if a letter is authentic into a thriller is remarkable.

2️⃣ So happy to see #ElliottGould again. Love that guy, and the character he plays here.

1️⃣ Deals really well with the fallout from the big cliffhanger. Nice character moments for Mickey, re: painkillers.

2️⃣ Pulls the trigger on a few case-related plot points. The stuff with the Alex Grant character was clever and fun. But the best scene was the smarmy podcaster getting caught out. I loved that.

3️⃣ Devotes a little too much time to the Mickey-Maggie love story. So what gives? Is she gone from the show now?

1️⃣ Some of these one-episode b-stories are a little too cute for their own good. But this one, about the teenage graffiti artist, was probably the best/smartest.

2️⃣ The Cisco storyline has taken it up a notch, also.

1️⃣ Wow. This was a very clever script. After the previous episode's big twist, our hero had a serious dilemma. This was the story of how he dealt with it.

2️⃣ Part of the joy here lies in the way they told the story, withholding vital information until the very end. Such fun.

3️⃣ And great casting! Who doesn't love #ElliottGould and #FionaRene?!

4️⃣ These two episodes were like a self-contained movie.
