This game is just ridiculously good looking sometimes. The aurora event is particularly amazing if it occurs when you're out in the wilderness (as long as you aren't besieged by fearless wolves).

The Long Dark has some seriously beautiful sunrises and sunsets - the devs put some serious work into having a great variety of weather patterns.
Spent today going into Ash Canyon and making my way through the gold mine.
Finally feeling like I'm getting the hang of the Interloper difficulty - I've learned to keep moving around, plan ahead a bit better and take fewer risks. Currently at day 31.

Sometimes there are advantages to not getting to playing a game immediately after buying it !
I bought #TheLongDark a while back but only briefly played it, I was always planning on going back to it and now it's getting patched for higher framerates on Xbox & PlayStation (A choice of either 30 or 60 fps).
