3/3 Interval #GoodThings since the endish of January:

-I finished my first #Book of 2023: #TessOfTheEmeraldSea by #BrandonSanderson. I absolutely loved the book's characters - not just the heroine but the supporting characters as well.

-I started a #reread of Sanderson's #Mistborn #The FinalEmpire with the goal of doing my first #readthrough of the newest book in the series #TheLostMetal.

-My wife and I got married 6 years ago today! So we are going to take the spawnling and eat tasty ramen!

The #Cosmere novels are consistently good or near-perfect. I always spot things that look out of place, but it all makes sense because there are other worlds involved.

Spoilers below for #TheLostMetal/#Scadrial in general

The thing I noticed most was that Wayne ate chouta. As far as I know, there are no people from #Roshar/#Ashyn/#Braize in this story at all. There are people from #Sel, #Taldain, and an Aetherbound. I have no idea how Rosharan cuisine would have gotten here, and I want to know

Someone joked that Wax #thelostmetal cover art looks like Matt Mercer.
Now I want to see the #criticalrole crew play the Mistborn Adventure game.

Also, who will be cast as Wax someday?

Finally finished and now I need to read Secret History again.

Overall I was kind of disappointed with the bomb being the big bad. Autonomy was too easily thwarted with Marasi able to just burn an entire pool of Dor...

I loved the character arcs for Steris and Marasi though. I wish Marasi joined, but understand why she didn't.

Harmony is starting to change though which will be interesting so see later on.

I said it for Rhythm of War, and I'll say it again for #thelostmetal. #brandonsanderson has really up'ed his tension and suspense game.
