I've been running #thelounge for #IRC on my SBC, and it's generally worked well, except that it holds the chat history in memory and the SBC is running out. I'm wondering if I should switch to #ZNC, if it will use less memory, or if I should just give up on IRC persistence.

My #Debian #server is up and running. I have been learning all sorts of cool stuff, and feeling very hacker-like doing all the things from a terminal.

For the first time I:
- installed sudo and added a user as a sudoer
- downloaded a file with wget
- got my first hosted app installed, configured, and working (#TheLounge)
- used the terminal to connect to my server via SSH from my laptop (running #LMDE)

This is more fun than I thought it would be.

Currently I am self-hosting for myself on a #RaspberryPi:

- #Nextcloud (files, calendar)
- #Pinry (moodboards, like Pinterest)
- #TheLounge (web-based IRC client)
- #PiHole (DNS privacy)

Also these, working well together:

- #FreshRSS (news, reading, webcomics)
- #RSSBridge (news, reading, webcomics)
- #Wallabag (reading)

Setting up a new server with YunoHost or similar for friends with other services is planned after The Next Big Thing™️ is organised.
