*yes, it's cloth on the outside, but all my "cloth" masks are from Enro: FDA approved ~as good as an N95

Well, I've now finished S3 of #TheMandolorian, and ultimately it was... okay?

It ended well*, but I'm not sure how they managed to make an 8 episode season feel like it was at least half filler.

An impressive feat that, but one that has a *very* limited use-case, I'd think.

(*) At least, the last two episodes felt 'good/better', but how much of that was the quite lowered expectations after seeing the middle episodes, I can't really say. It will definitely get a fourth season, and probably a fifth, but I very much hope they are better than this effort.

Meanwhile, #StarTrekDiscovery is ending with season 5, (which we don't get to see until next year anyway, and IMHO that's a damn shame. It finally #GrewTheBeard in late s2, and just kept getting better, I feel. I'm really going to miss Discovery and her crew/family.

I just finished binging the latest 3 episodes of #TheMandolorian*, and they went from bad, to worse, to insulting, in each episode.

Too complicated a story for the time they had and lazy writing combined to destroy the second best #StarWar #series.

Thankfully, I've also been rewatching the best-ever #StarWars story, #Andor.

I'm disappointed that #TheMandolorian gave Grogu a robot to pilot, since I was hoping he would tame a mythosaur in the finale, and a baby yoda inside a mech on top of a godzilla who is stomping on stormtroopers seems like too awesome a thing to actually happen.

Watched episode 5 and 6 of #TheMandolorian Such wooden performances in episode 5. Ironic that the people with helmets on are more dynamic than those of which we can see the full face. Want to see where Elia Kane thread is going. Episode 6 was better performances, but just silly fun except for the end.

I got spoiled with Andor.

I mean "Grogu" is in fact an objectively terrible name but also... on brand 😆

Hot damn, that was a messy, but great episode of "The Mandolorian". While the Darksaber drama will likely take top billing, my big takeaway is that Baby Yoda ❤️ Flautists.

This week's episode of #TheMandolorian was fantastic! The scale of this show is getting bigger and bigger. Its tiny little corner of the #StarWars universe is growing. The writing and pacing have been great and there's just enough fan service. I'm so happy that John Favreau and Dave Filoni are saving Star Wars.

If Mando and Bo Katan are at least open to finding a lot of Mandolorians, if not looking for them yet, why are we all expecting to see Ahsoka Tano but not Sabine Wren, who is in fact Mandolorian?

I mean the ending of Rebels could have been literally any time -- so where the hell is Sabine?

Yes, I remember Carl Weathers and I'm pretty sure he's living better than he was before #TheMandolorian came out AND I'm looking forward to this week's episode of the show, which he's directing. 🤣

This week's #TheMandolorian is a bit shit. It's more about 2 other characters than it is Mando & Grogu.
