okay, so in my quest for doing as much stuff in the terminal as possible, I am trying the email client alpine (which I have used on the great @SDF). It has a colour mode!…but a light one.

Anyone got a decent dark theme setup for alpine?

Google is no use, it's clogged with answers about a Javascript framework, the Linux distro, etc.

I'm working on a GTK3 and 4 theme that adapts to @kde Plasma color scheme (riding on the trick that Breeze GTK uses), that looks very much like Oxygen (although with some modifications, such as colored toggled buttons). So far, it's still in alpha, therefore not published in opendesktop, but the repo is already public and clonable: https://git.disroot.org/eudaimon/oxygen-adaptive

I'm working on a transparent version of CyberHack #theme, and I'm so happy with the result so far!
Notice blur behind transparent windows in #GTK3, thanks to #Compiz. That won't happen on every desktop, therefore, and transparency without blurring background is usually distracting or makes things difficult to read, so one may get tired soon of that theme. No with compiz and blurred backgrounds :)

This is my new theme Deeply Skeuo. It's based on another theme of mine, Skewaita. It's #skeuomorphic (that is, non-flat, mimicking real-life objects such as buttons and sliders), light but very easy on the eyes, with bright blue accents. Enjoy!

I have updated Simplewaita: more usability (see new tabs), much more compatibilty with #Gnome 's #libadwaita (see instructions). #Kvantum theme also includes the tab update, and therefore now it is different from Simple theme, so it's better that you install the new one. As always, using symbolic links to the cloned repo is the easiest way to include updates!

I've created a completely new version of Simple #theme, called Simplewaita. This time I've based the GTK 3 and 4 part on #Adwaita 's code base, so it should be very solid.

Simplewaita is a skeuomorphic theme, that tries to use as little CPU as possible to draw widgets (no gradients, almost no box-shadows or transparencies), while also trying to be extremely legible. It has a very #oldSchool touch to it, too. It's dark and green.
